What's up, everyone? What's up, Lucid Minds?
Welcome To The Chronicles of Curiosity!
Episode 5 Of The High Agency Architecture.
Today's episode is about the commitment to the mind/knowledge.
The journey of commitment to the mind is a lifelong journey. It's an intentional one. You have to be totally dedicated to your mind if you want to get the most out of life.
Every second, every minute, matters. It's not something you practice only when you feel inspired.
Last week I was listening to an interview of JJ Omojuwa — a columnist & digital Entrepreneur — on the Notmotivated podcast. He said on the podcast that he realized early in life that everything rises and falls back on his mind. For him to make the most out of life, he needs to be intentionally committed to his mind. For this reason, he has had a library in every house he has lived in. He takes his Kindle along with him wherever he goes. If he is at a conference and the speaker is boring, he brings out his Kindle and starts reading. He makes every minute of his life count because every moment matters. He's aware of the fact that the little things matter, and your journey to greatness starts from paying attention to the little things—and doing them well.
I believe there are three things in life that have no substitute. Those things are: food, money, and knowledge.
I explored the knowledge part in this episode. If I knew what I know now in 2018, depression would have been a thing of the past for me. Yeah, I'm aware that only experience can teach you some things. However, committing to your mind by consuming as much quality information as you can, reading like your life depends on it (of course, it does—because ignorance can be suicidal), and applying what you've learned to your life can save you a lot and help you navigate whatever type of lemons life throws at you. Knowledge increases your level of self-awareness, which has a huge role to play in the way you react to the curveballs life throws at you. Of course, you can't know it all, but you can know a bit about a lot of things. Study sociology, psychology, philosophy, human nature, physiology, and history.
Commitment to your mind is a lifelong journey. It has no destination, so you might as well learn how to enjoy the process. Learn how to find pleasure in the journey because there's no destination you'll arrive at. A lot of things in life are like that; it's just that society has programmed us to believe that everything you commit to must have a destination. The conventional structure taught us that. I have no problem with structure, but I've come to realize that if you aren't careful with the way you navigate anything that has to do with structure, you'll become indoctrinated into the Destination Operating System.
Listen up, you'll be glad you did.

As a High-agency individual, you need to read every day and take your Self-Education seriously. And one of the best and fastest ways to educate yourself in an unconventional way is to sign up for online courses to expand your horizon. And Alison happens to be one of the best—if not the best platform—to give you that.
Alison happens to be one of the most prominent online learning platforms designed to help professional upskill in various fields related to the digital economy.
Alison was the first platform where I learned Broadcasting and Media studies from back in 2021 before I took it a step further with Cardinal Broadcasting Organization via City Media Academy 105.1 City FM.
Signing up for Alison is you signing up for a future where your Self-Education is in your hands. A future where you won't have to ask for permission to learn anything in this world. A future where you're allowed to become a mastery at anything that stimulates your mind or satiate your curiosity.
Call To Action
If you're stuck and don't know where or how to start taking commitment to your mind seriously, this is for you. If you have no clue what to do about your information diet—even though you're aware that it is just as important as your nutritional diet—this is for you.
You know you're built for more, but you find it difficult to start exploring your potential and creating greater exploits. Your circle of friends isn't challenging you enough. You look around and all you see is complacency, average thinking, and mediocrity—but deep down, you know that's not what you want for yourself.
You need that mental repositioning. You need to understand how to use your greatest leverage—your mind—to fulfill your potential.

You need that clarity call to unlock the goldmine you've been sitting on for a very long time.
The modern world no longer requires you to search for the next big thing when the big thing has been your mind all along. Unlike some of your ancestors who had to search for gold, silver, or diamonds to create wealth, the wealth today is in the mind.
But you can only maximize it if you nourish it. You can only unlock its full potential if you're mentally equipped and intentionally developed.
The question is: are you ready to start taking your mind seriously?
